MyEnergySavings is operated by Ahmed Alhamadani and publishes information to help households in Great Britain understand their energy bills. MyEnergySavings is the publisher; an individual author or expert reviewer is identified only when that attribution has been established.
Sources and evidence
Guides and news include references so you can check the underlying information. Regulatory announcements, supplier terms and official guidance should take precedence over general explanations. References do not mean those organisations endorse this website.
Dates and forecasts
Publication and information-check dates are shown on articles. A check date records the stated review, not a guarantee that the information remains current. Forecasts are distinguished from confirmed announcements and can change. Prices may depend on location, usage, payment method and tariff. We do not automatically refresh dates just to make content look new.
Calculations and illustrations
Worked examples and the prototype Energy Check are illustrations, not personalised tariff quotes or guaranteed savings. The methodology page explains the assumptions and limitations. Check current terms with a supplier before acting.
Corrections
If something looks wrong or outdated, send a correction with the page title, the disputed statement and a supporting source where possible. Material corrections should be explained on the affected page and its review date updated after checking the change.
Commercial context
MyEnergySavings does not currently compare or arrange energy tariffs. A link to another organisation is not a promise that it offers the cheapest deal. Any future paid placement or affiliate relationship should be clearly disclosed alongside the relevant content.
