MyEnergySavings does not currently use cookies. We use temporary browser session storage to remember your Energy Check result while you use the website.
What we store
Your Energy Check result is saved temporarily in your browser so we can display it on the results page without asking you to complete the check again. This uses session storage rather than cookies.
How we use session storage
This storage supports the Energy Check you request. The saved result stays in your browser and is not automatically sent to our servers or added to a marketing profile. Information you separately submit, such as your email address, is covered by our Privacy Policy.
How long results are saved
Your result remains available during the current tab’s page session, including when you refresh the page. Session storage normally clears when the tab or window closes, although browser session-restoration features may restore it.
Managing your saved result
You can remove saved website data through your browser’s settings. Clearing or blocking browser storage may prevent your result from appearing, so you may need to complete Energy Check again.
Analytics and advertising cookies
We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. We do not use your saved Energy Check result to track you across other websites.
Future changes
If we introduce cookies or change how we use browser storage, we will update this policy. Where consent is required, we will ask before using the relevant technology.
