MyEnergySavings is operated by Ahmed Alhamadani. The site publishes energy guides and news for households in Great Britain, alongside an illustrative cost-check tool.

Energy bills are rarely written for the people who pay them. Unit rates, standing charges, price caps and Direct Debits are easy to mix up, and it is hard to know whether a number is high for your home or simply typical.

MyEnergySavings aims to simplify that. Today, the prototype cost check compares reported payments with a model whose assumptions are published openly. Later, we want to make finding better energy deals easier too.

We keep the language plain, the design calm, and the result honest. A higher bill is not automatically a reason to switch, and a lower bill is not automatically a reason to stay. It is simply clearer information to start from.
